happy birthday you!

How funny is it that this blog is now 1 year old?

*

And how funny is it that I am celebrating by actually writing an entry while lying in bed at 12.50pm?

Now before you think what a lazy ass I have become in this past year, I have my reasons.

I was reading my first entry just before (this is NOT the reason) and it has been almost a year that I've distanced myself from the world of architecture. And God knows when I will resume my role as a Project/Design Architect. With the baby coming in June, I guess it will at least be another year until I can even start looking. It is definitely going to be hard to catch up especially because design and technology evolves and well, I haven't been keeping up to date. Maybe I should look up 'Architecture' in Facebook and start keeping in touch.

I have been working for two weeks straight and today is the only day I am off. So I said to my husband that I was going to have some me time while he's at work, i.e long bath, mani & pedi, catch up with Prison Break and all that jazz. But I was secretly going to wash the upstairs bathroom and cook Nasi Goreng Tomyam.

I woke up 1.5 hours later than I usually do, checked my emails on the bed, start to lie down again and suddenly felt nauseous. So I threw up. So I had my first (or second) morning sickness. I had one on Saturday morning but I did not know the difference between morning sickness and normal nausea. So yea, that is the reason why I am still in bed (and it's 1.08pm now).

Husband said he'll wash the bathroom this weekend (we'll see) and that I should just rest and watch dvds, which I will.

Anyways, JB is 11 weeks today, he/she can now listen to us! No more arguing okay babe?

Why is Windows 7 messing up with the size of my fonts? It keeps on going from big to small to big again every time I scroll the touchpad. But things look so much better on this new notebook!

i love rain and thunderstorm

The rain has not stopped since last night, it is good for the Melbourne water storage, but brilliant for our moods.

We dressed nicely, walked(ran) in the rain and danced all night.

Classic movie scene in mind.

How romantic!

And Liverpool-Man City drew.

God really did not want us to fight this weekend.

scorching november

Melbourne is experiencing it's hottest November since 1902. I feel sorry for the guy who had to experience both.

Sorry I missed the whole of October.

On the Eleventh, our marriage turned one and our two became three!

On the same day :)
