What an effing joke!

The events that transpired tonight made me realise that I am living a life that is, well, not really a life.

Is it me? Is something wrong with me? I know friends come and go, but aren't they supposed to stay for a while, longer than 5 minutes maybe. I truly envy those people with lifelong friends, childhood buddies, or even one close friend. I have none. My best friend is my husband, and I dread for the day that LA will outgrow me and just think I am her uncool mother.

2011 resolution: make friends. Sorry I mean, make REAL friends. Not just people you're forced to hang out with because your husbands are friends, but really REAL FRIENDS! Grr.
