Found this while I was cleaning LA's room. Look at the date! We had this name even before we were pregnant. Okay I had it. 6 months before we found out we were pregnant. Almost a year before we knew we were having a girl.
It's not unusual I guess because I would sometimes do this when I was bored. In fact, my mind is constantly brainstorming names for her little siblings. But what was funny was that I have lots of names for boys but only liked one name for girls. I only had the others because AY wasn't too keen on the name 'Leah' at first, he thought it was too 'Western'. (Since we all know how this story end, I guess I am quite good at getting things done my way *wink*) I even 'pretended' to suggest other names but I knew from the very beginning that's going to be my first daughter's name.

I had more names for boys because I always imagine that I would have two boys and one girl. But we all know now that's not how things go. We plan, He yays or nays. In fact one of my favourite sayings is this...
"When you ask God something, there are only three answers. Yes, and He gives you what you want. No, and He gives you something else. He says WAIT, and He gives you something better"
Confession: I did ask for something else, and I definitely got something better. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.
